One of my favorite pieces. Frans Rood (French-Red ceramics) made the violin a few years back.
Mounted on a board salvaged from a century old barn. The finish is a combination of oil and bees wax.
I love the imperfect nature of the weathered wood with all it’s cracks. It is currently hanging on my wall waiting for the day the art markets reopen post COVID.
